3- Scientific approach:
In designing the soft landscape, species were carefully chosen to endure the hot climate of Aqaba. They are easily maintained being drought resistant and low water consuming plants.
The species were picked from local Aqaba vegetation along with imported specimens to enrich the overall result.
The total design aims to enrich the character and identity of the space it serves.
Following are samples of the total site plan, with “zoom ins” for some areas, and detailing of lighting, street furniture and kiosk design.
